Best pokemon team? Regarding the starter there is no doubt, Mudkip is the best; Swampert can literally do the game alone, but also the other 2 are not bad either. Other pokemon you can evaluate are the classic Gardevoir or Alakazam if you can trade, Manectric or Raichu, Heracross or Hariyama, Skarmory or Dodrio (very strong in gen 3). This actually makes no sense to do because the game only lets you use 3 of your pokemon at a time which means completely different dynamics and party selection.
